Unbond

Staking on PRYSM is an instantaneous process. Unstaking or unbonding PRYSM is a bit more complicated. To unbond PRYSM on the PRYSM network, 14 days must lapse for the unbonding process to finish.

This delay helps secure and protect the PRYSM network by aligning stakers governance incentives with the value of the PRYSM token. As a result, the greater the percentage of PRYSM supply that is staked, the more confidence in the network.
